As crime dramas go, this is one of the lamest I've seen. I'll accept any unrealistic plot turn from a fictional story in exchange for not begging to sleep. And the acting was OK, except nobody was doing anything. Of course, you get the thrill of seeing Robert Downey create yet another "quirky" flamboyant character as he does so well! Oh boy!!!

Be sure to check out the special features. In depth interviews with the people who actually lived through attacks from Zodiac. They go back to locations and talk about exactly what happened. If you are not familiar with this story, just rent the movie. It is very good and is a compelling story, even though its a dark subject.

If your looking for a slasher movie, forget it. This shows more about the men trying to solve the crime and how it effected their lives. Great performances by all, very eerie, loved it!

This movie is great!I had already seen it in the movie house but i wanted to see it again.i watched it about 5 times in 3 days.The acting is great,the time period was captured excellent ,and it was very creepy! Sad to know that this really happened though. I very highly recommend this movie.It does drag on abit towards the end but you get your money's worth.Make some extra popcorn!

One of the unjustly neglected films of 2007 was this masterpiece from noir director David Fincher, "Zodiac". Excellently acted by all including Mark Ruffalo, Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jr, etc., this thriller never lets up in the tension despite its long running time. I was in the San Francisco bay area when these murders occurred and this film perfectly captures the period and the mood of that time. One of the best docu-dramas ever made!!
