Nothing made me jump in this film, all the killing was done out in the open, there was no element of surprise. The storyline had potential but it didn't go anywhere. And the ending was horrible... I could go on forever. I can definately see why people walked out on this one. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I saw this movie in theaters and I stayed through 3/4 of it hoping that it would redeem itself, but unfortunatly it did not and it got so bad that I was disgusted and had to leave the theater. Granted horror movies in general are created to shock and gross us out, but this film was not only badly written with no plot line to follow, but displayed scenes of such atrocity that I question the character of the person in charge of putting this on film. The graphic rape of a young mother while her baby is held at gunpoint defied the one opportunity this film had to show the human nature still present in these beings despite their rejection from society. I strongly recommend you don't watch this film. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

A family trapped in the hills with mutants. That was it, it was boring and believe me not scary (with the exception of an occasional mutant in the window). There was a particular scene in the movie that almost made me vomit (not because of gore) because it was so wrong. It seemed like they threw that particular scene into the movie because it's the only thing that makes it memorable (and not in a good way). It was the worst "horror" film I've ever seen. I absolutely LOVED it. I mean yes, the rape scene was pretty graphic and i cringed when watching it, but come on .. thats what horror movies should be making you do, CRINGE! That whole scene was so intense, it did not just involve the rape scene. I've never watched a horror movie that i could not take my eyes off the screen, but this one has changed that for me. I would definitely consider watching this, give it a chance. I just know i'm buying it. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
