The blood and guts were good special effects and the creation of the hill people was terrific makeup and special effects. Worth seeing if yuo are a horror movie fan. Bring someone to cuddle with. The story took off right away. You knew something bad was going to happen as soon
as the movie came on. Minus the rape, which
wasn't necessary, this was a pretty good movie.

If you enjoyed movies like Wrong Turn, Detour and Devil's Rejects then this flick is for you. Heavy gore and shocking scenes - everything a horror fanatic would want. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

This is a very good movie. It kept me jumping. If you like Horror movies. You must see this one. Number two movie is good also but this one is alot better. Watch both movies back to back. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreBoy, this one's typical Wes Craven (did the original in the 90's and produced this version of it later). It wasn't insanely out of this world gruesome but it was just eerie enough to make me want to sleep with a shotgun. Ruby will win your heart, if you can see past all the gore. Although I had to sleep with the TV on the cartoon network after I watched this I really want to see the 2nd one to find out why the first one ended the way that it did. Not as bad as the Hellraiser series, a little more scary thatn Basketcase. Fun, but not for the whole family.
