For the true horror fan, this movie was exceptional! Compared to most other horrors, this movie actually had good acting! Surprise surprise! The gorey details are great, and without some sexuality, it isn't a great horror. Look at all of the classic vampire movies! The characters were believable, and come on, who didn't crack a chuckle when the gang of kids was bribed with the bag of bubble gum? That was great! So you have great gore, good acting, some chuckles, AND the revenge factor. I won't spoil the movie, but it's the type of ending where it makes you feel good, not just grossed out and hopeless. It is incredibly violent and contains some truly brutal scenes, but they are all in the service of the big picture. The end of the film is extremely rewarding and surprisingly suspenseful, once all of the brutality runs its course.
