Good performances, particularly by Ritter. His character is the only one of the teen's who is really developed. His parents situation felt real, but somehow I remember being that age in 1978 a little differently. The Sandra Locke aspect almost interferes with the rest of the movie. I liked it, but didn't love it.

I love that it wasn't really about anything because life is like that sometimes. It was more realistic. It is perfect. Who doesn't dream of getting out of a small town and being famous and making something out of yourself. I love Hilarie Burton. The cast was so great. Highly recommended!

A very surprising little gem. Small town life as it really was. really felt for many of the kids. Few loose ends but overall very enjoyable to watch.
