Read More This movie really surprised me with how good it was. The acting was incredible, though Jodie Foster wasn't in as much of the movie as I thought she would be. Clive Owen and Denzel did excellent as usual. Though the whole movie was great the ending was one of the best I have seen in a long time! Highly recommended. Clive Owen played his role very good and the ending credits should have ran after his last scene but this movie was ok.

However, I didn't like jumping forward in time and then back to the story. Too revealing for me and it made it easier to figure out. The ending was fairly predictable too. The acting was very good. Read More I have never really been a big Spike Lee fan, so when my movie watching mate picked this I sort of cringed, but I gave it a chance, and was pleasntly surprised. Great flick. Only complaint I had at first was I thought the ending was pretty vauge, but then after you give it some thought...........might of been intentional...........just who really was the inside man? after you watch it.....thank about that;) I highly reccomend this film. From start to finish this movie was loaded with action. All the actors were great, Denzel was outstanding. For once, Spike Lee finally made an excellent movie. Read More I was really looking forward to this movie. Denzel Washington, Clive Owen, William DeFoe......great list, except for Jodie Foster, but she had all of about 15 minutes of screen time at least. The movie starts out good, a few little mistakes (I think the bank gaurds would know if painters were coming in), but good. The story keeps you guessing for most of the first half. Then it starts to take a turn for the worse......the plot points unravel and we start to see what is "really" happening.....and they make no sense. The last 25 minutes is pure garbage that doesn't explain anything and shows the completely impossible conclusion. I listened to some of the "commentary" to see what Spike was thinking, and it was terrible as well. His commentary was laced with racist, political opinion and intelligent comments such as "Yeah, look, he don't like that yo!" This film isn;t even worth a free coupon..... Read More This movie was terribly disappointing. I think that Denzel Washington and Jodie Foster did a great job, but whoever cut and edited and put this movie together did a TERRIBLE job. The movie wasn't chronological, which made me feel the entire time that I had missed something; Jodie Foster's character wasn't explained enough to understand why she had all this "power." Since when would a top negotiator make a mockery of people just taken out of a hostage situation? Innocent til proven guilty, guys???
