awful. it was like a SCARY MOVIE flick where it makes fun of the original but not intentionally. terrible. the orange skin and the chicken tasting flesh part was like something from south park. and the guy crawling out of the attic hissing like a cat was so amusing and awful simultaneously. the original is best. this was the worste remake of a cult classic i ever saw. just awful.

While this movie is not for everyone and may not be enjoyed beyond the usual 'genre' crowds, it is truly one of the better horror remakes that have been created so far. While it is a movie that is considered to be over the top, it does it's job by providing genuine suspense and lots of blood. The original version of this movie is very different from this 2006 version; what is very intriguing about this version is the characters' understanding that Christmas may be an even more sinister holiday than Halloween.

Black Christmas Remake 1/10 Fine remakes are the new thing in horror and why not re-image them and explain them a bit. Do not change the whole story well your at it. For example, this Black Christmas. Now I am beginning to think some things are better left unexplained. The deaths were sub par, but try something different and don't do the exact same kill every time. Ending was horribly weak as well.
