This movie had horrible acting, horrible script, and they could have been more creative with the death scenes. 90% of the death scenes was someone getting their eye ripped out or stabbed in the eye. Do not waste your life on this movie. I like cheesy horror movies as much as the next person, but I can't rate this as being anything that should be watched again. I cant even stress how bad this film was. I've never seen the original so I cant compare the two, but if the original was anything like this 2 cent for a nickle garbage can trash of a so-called horror flick, then I'll definitely pass on that one too. This movie was just awful no matter which way you look at it. Im done, I dont even wanna waste anymore time even talking about this film. Please, do yourself a favor and pass this one up. I thought the acting was to die for literally:) Yes there was blood and it's share of gore, however, I couldn't get beyond the terrible acting and it was just way too predictable. Read More The original is classic but I went into the remake with an open mind... but wow, it's truly awful. No suspense, no scares, bland characters, even for a horror film. Ugh. The so-called "creepy" phone messages were laughable. I was chuckling to myself during several scenes. Sometimes when you watch a movie you get the feeling the filmmakers just gave up halfway through filming... this is one of those movies. Good for a laugh but nothing more. Read More i thought this movie was good. i couldnt wait for it to come to dvd cuz i missed it in theaters. the gore is off the hizzle!! there is just so much of it. if you love a gorry movie with lots of blood this ones for you... although i give it 4 stars it was so PREDICTABLE!! i didnt see the orginal but it makes me want to rent that now cuz i heard it was better. I could figure out everything that was going to happen before it happend... i felt psyhic for 90 mins or so. i could have just sat there and narrarated the darn movie.. but the actors were amazing.. the effects were great.. and its a great slasher.....but man billys sister/kid was freaking ugly as all... im gonna have nightmares of that face!! ahh..
