In Living Color: Season 04 (1992) Reviews

This season continues the trend of being better than the preceding one. Kennan shaves his head off and sports a nice "Morpheus"-all-black-dress look. The days of bright orange pants are definitely gone for him. Damon Wayans, who supposedly left the show in Season 3 makes quite a few appearances, which leaves you wondering "wait, is he back on the show?" Then Kennan disappears from the show abruptly. This leaves Jim Carey as the front man for the show, which is kind of ironic being that this was to be an "afro centric" show. Jamie Foxx grows in his presence and you can definitely start to see him dominate the show. The fly girls' dancing get a LOT more sensual than in previous seasons. They also downsize to keep the best ones. Marlon Wayans, who formally joins the cast, also leaves abruptly and kind of fades away. Tommy Davidson is also absent in a LOT of episodes ... makes you wonder what happened there.
