Read More 'Mad Money' is well done in terms of acting and directing/editing. I love the opening scene with Ted Danson sitting in front of the commode with a paper shredder! Diane Keaton is luminous as always. Queen Latifah shines too. My main criticism is that as mad-caper plots go this one is very predictable and not very plausible. That said, I still enjoyed this film because of the easy rapport between the three female protagonists and also relative new comer Adam Rothenberg's character is really funny. I can think of lots of worse ways to spend 2 hours so give this one a try. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

Read More A pleasantly surprising movie! While I agree that the script was a tad implausible and rushed at the beginning, I had no problem suspending disbelief to enjoy what turned out to be a really smart & interesting caper. Diane Keaton and Queen Latifah turn in fine performances, but Ted Danson is hilarious as the uber-paranoid husband and Katie Holmes is a scene stealer. And underneath the heist is a very humanizing tale about the desire to do whatever it takes to get what you want. I'd watch it again, and recommend it to you as a worthy addition to your queue.
