The story is dangerous. There is a direct comparative between Christians as "they" and gays as not christian. The overt implication of "Everyone" is Everyone is foul and broken. There are no good people, all marriage is a sham and wisdom comes by denying morality. Everyone drinks, everyone screws around and in the faint whimpering of these two totally lost souls is a desperate desire to have what they hate: a normal life. This movie could have been written by Rush Limbaugh in support of the anti-gay movement. I'm certain conversative preachers will want a copy for their church to show why gays can never be socially acceptable. Completely inappropriate for our crucial time. Not an oscar winner by any means, but very good story and engaging. The characters are really screwed up in their own lives, and the drama builds to a nasty climax. The movie kind of makes you never want to get married. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

I thought the other reviews were going to be all wrong and I was going to love this movie, but they were all right.. I actually fell asleep because I couldn't stay focused on the movie. Don't waste your time or money. These are two things you'll never get back...along with your dignity for renting the movie. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

general cursing, it takes a lot away from the movie. Take that out and you have a movie that
is fairly enjoyable. I would say the best role
went to the "hustler" in the movie. A true spoiler with good, mischeveous intent involved.
The mother was very good. The surgeon over did it. If he hasn't resolved death at the time of
doing brain surgery, he definitely had issues to
work through. The couple mourning the death of
their child definitely had it as far as role(s)
but they let it get away.
If you have ever been involved with "Death and
Dying Group(s) or issues you can have mental
fun with it. Of course, that's true when you
are sitting watching it and not caught up in it.
