It is impossible to watch. First of all, the video quality is a joke esp. in this time period where any film student knows how to turn video into film quailty. Second, the evil charactor is the biggest joke of all time. The make-up/cotume job is so bad it isn't funny since they were actually serious. I didn't pay anything to see this but that was too much. I actually watched Hell's Kitchen for the 2nd time than to finish this. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Like asking my grandparents to act out a movie. Awful. Put this movie down and run far, far away. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

It almost looks as though it was filmed using a home video cam. The Long hunted killer reminded me somewhat of the "Cat in the Hat", of Dr. Suess character. I picked it up for it's inference to E.A. Poe and the classic Raven tale, and this was not done very well at all. The very best I can say, is: "don't judge a book by its cover!!! It also had similarities in the way it was filmed, to "THE RIVER KING", which I found to be ameuterish also. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More The dialog has poor flow - lots of pauses and stupid comments. It had very little to do with Edgar Allan Poe (which is ultimately the reason I had decided to pick up this flick) and the things that did have to do with Edgar Allan Poe seemed to be comical and not attributed to horror at any level. The audio quality on much of the dialog is terrible, which is to be expected in a low budget film, but I found myself more engrossed in customizing the volume level on each scene then I was in the actual scene itself. The last thing that I feel I need to make mention about is the group of 30+ year old stoners, seriously, what was the idea behind that? It was like watching a Cheech and Chong. Sorry...that doesn't belong in horror.
To add a plus side to this review - If you like that strange stupid feeling that you had when you watched Napolean Dinomite you'll definately get it here only you'll be so depressed that you wasted about an hour and a half out of your time. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More After viewing this title, I can offer the following: it delivers on its pretenses. Fans of the genre will not be disappointed: it offers gratuitous nudity; campy dialogue; and creative, excessively violent death scenes. Most of the acting is sub-par (especially the "kids"), but this can be expected from a horror film as the producers commonly employ the inept to keep costs low. It should be noted, however, that there ARE appearances from some actors that are quite competent: those that are acutely observant will notice such character actors as Dee Wallace Stone from E.T. and Anita LaSalva/Robert Leeshock from Earth Final Conflict providing solid work. The lead actresses are nice on the eyes (especially when they're naked) and they serve their purposes efficiently. This film doesn't try to be anything that it isn't. It's obvious that the director intended it to be a fun, escapist film aimed at the horror/troma junkies and he succeeds with aplomb. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
