Read MoreShrek the Third did not have the developed storyline or interest its prior two movies had. It appeared to cramp everyone and their mother into the movie (King Arthur, Snow White, etc.). The additions of Cinderella, Snow White, etc. in the storyline was a poor rip-off of Charlie's Angel. Overall, this trilogy was like most of the other trilogies that came out this summer... this movie was not the best shrek movie ever. I found it quite boring at times. It didnt look at all like what the previews looked like. I dont think any sherk movie will beat the first. I do think if they make another one they need to put more of that comedy that the first one had to offer. MORE OF DONKEY TOO! i just love him. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Well in going with the title the 3rd its the third best of the Shrek triology. It was corny to be nice. Unless you have kids and you have to watch this movie dont do it! WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreThere was enough kids and adult humor to entertain our whole family. My 3 yr old son likes to watch the DVD over and over again. The music is pretty fun, there's a lot of action, spectacular animation. The new characters both new and old were all really funny, and the concept of Arthur being a dork was funny. All in all, really good especially considering it is a sequel. There were many reviews when the movie came out in theaters that made me expect it to be mediocre but I was pleasantly surprised. This is the least funny of the three and some of the gags are getting old. it's still a good movie; the animation is top notch, the talent is great, and although the story is not great, little kids will probably love it. The Third uses the same premise as the other two. It flips a fairy tale around. This time it's the story of King Arthur and Merlin. Shrek sets out to find the last heir to the throne so he doesn't have to take over as king and finds an Arthur and a Merlin very different from that of the original fairy tale.
