Bette Midler and Shelly Long really work great together, they had a wonderful chemistry in this movie and it shows. Too bad they didn't do more together, could have really made a great team like Abbott & Costello. I recommend renting this movie if you want to laugh.

I have discovered that the 1980’s was a golden decade for comedies and this is one of them. The silly stupid comedies of the 2000’s are a total waste as far as I am concerned, with few exceptions. Shelley Long and Bette Midler make it look so easy in making us laugh. Check it out. You will see an art that has apparently been lost.
