My wife and I laughed, cried, and ended the film filled with hope and happiness. It's ironical that it's a movie about letting go of baggage and resolving (i.e. completing) life's issues, and yet some people won't finish it. Their loss :(
Get this movie, and also "King of Masks" and your life will be enriched :)
ps, the short version isn't worth watching, it's only Steve's childhood scenes all together - seen that, done that, so obviously some people don't know what they're talking about. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

True enough, as some have said, it is not a really exciting movie. It is not a thrill ride. Your teenager will hate it. It's a truly unusual movie for people with a bit of maturity and patience.
I suggest having some tissue ready - there are several very emotional moments - high and low. I found it an interesting tale and thought the movie was very well done, technically. I watched it three times and enjoyed it every time.
You may not love it, but if you appreciate movies that defy typicality - it is absolutely worth your time to give it a chance! Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

This movie is sad, quirky and nice as even if the characters do wrong, they come back and apologize and do the right thing! Never see that any more! WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Interesting storyline and characters, good dialog, this was funny, sad and touching. I'm glad I took a chance and rented this one, a nice change of pace from all those zombie movies! Very enjoyable and different. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

I rented this on a whim and because I liked the actors in it, but I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie. May not be for everyone, but I thought it was fantastic. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
