My husband and I watched this with our 8 year old, and were very thankful that the younger kids were in bed already. The opening scene when the old man supposedly dies was too much for our boy. He went on to finish the movie, although I almost turned it off a few times, especially over the scenes with the babysitter and her boyfriend. Afterward, my child couldn't sleep from the vivid disturbing images he'd seen.
