It is one of the best "kids" movies I have seen in a while. There are a few parts of the movie that may be a little uncomfortable for young children. But its just entertaining, its not a typical "kids" movie with morals or things like that. Its just a fun movie for the family, also Chowder is one of the best characters to come along in a long time. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

This movie was OK. I was good enough to watch once but definately not for little children; it would be to scary for them they would have nightmares. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

I took my 11 year old son to see it, he seemed entertained. Afterwards thought it was just ok and hasnt mentioned it again, unlike Cars or Ice Age 2 etc. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreFine animation and competent voice acting cannot make up for the lack of characterization or the punchless plot of Monster House, a movie that awkwardly (and at times inappropriately) attempts to explore the last moments of true childhood.
Complete with uvula-vulva humor, a scene that features urine in a bottle, and a bug-eyed African-American police officer whose manner uncomfortably conjures images of 1930s and 1940s Hollywood (in which blacks were typically shown to be believers in all things supernatural), Monster House is a hyperactive hodgepodge of morbid images and tedious, unfunny takes on pubescent identity issues.
