I have 3 kids 9yrs. to 15yrs. and I would recomend that if your kiddos are younger than 8 years old, this movie not be watched...it was pretty weird for me to watch a movie that is intented for kids and find some of the parts pretty freaky. Lots of adult content as far as I am concerned for a kids movie! I think if you have kids 9 and up they are gonna love it! It's like a kids horror film, if there wasn't such a thing..there is now. It's a good in a freaky kinda way movie..not intended in my way of thinking for young kids.

I thought the story pulled you in from the very start. My wife and my kids (5 and 7) thought it was one the the better movies we've seen in a long time. A little scary but not bad compared to i.e. Wallace and Grommit, which freaked my kids out. The story was interesting enough that nobody got up or distracted the entire movie (even the 3 year old). A good choice for family movie night.

Good for older children. (7 and up). The children that watched the movie range in age 11-4. Would not let the 4 year old watch it again.(the 4 yr old wasn't my child). The others only wanted to watch it once. They said they enjoyed the movie, but normally I will be asked 3 or 4 times to watch a movie that they really liked again.

Although I am glad that I did not go see this in the theatre, I did like it. My 15 year old son like the animation. He is interested in that sort of thing. Don't let young children watch.

This movie was a lot better than I thought it would be. Chowder was hilarious and I thought it had a good story line. This is something the whole family can enjoy.

No lesson, no redeaming qualities, just a creapy movie that leaves you feeling empty when it's over. Definitly not for young children. it's about a scary possessed house which roars, eats children, dogs, and people. It lures children to its jaws with their own stolen toys. There is no moral to the story, only a slight twist at the end. I won't spoil it for those that do want to see the film. I give it a half star because i can't give it less.

I rented this movie for my children to see and within the first 15 minutes of the film, I had to turn the movie off. I later viewed the movie further, to see if my 9 year old could see it. The inuendos and content not suited for children. I also was disappointed as to the plot.
