He did have a hard time watching it but in the end he liked it. The animation was almost real and my husband and I enjoyed watching the dvd extras on how they made the movie. Read More It baffles me how you devise a cast of stellar performers; invest in the HIGHEST state-of-the-art graphics rendering engine and techniques possible to date... all to be uselessly and UN-inventively thrown together ~ for a movie that children with "morality" should not watch! This movie is clearly and decisively meant for NO ONE under a somewhat educated youthful age of at least 9-10! This movie's approach could quite literally scare the pants off of a child not use to this adult orientated style of shtick we are seeing in more and more animated "adult" movies. The problem is primarily that your child HAS to have the ability to render an understanding in how a "woman" turns into a "haunted" house, and moves; and can move objects, and yell, and eat people... and on and on does this absolutely stupid slim storyline goes. Pathetic. Movies such as this are the REASON I never take my two girls to see this crap in theaters without previously viewing them Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||
