Read MoreThis movie really does feel disjointed. It shows events that have no relevance to its thin story. Furthermore, the characters are weird and urealistic. The actions, paritcularly by Keatons' characters, come out of nowhere. He's not really convincing as a neurotic writer or as die hard Boston fan. No story here. Made like some disjointed art film. Unrealistic characters filled with bad acting. The cast did not help this movie. Most had half hearted performances. Awful. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Perhaps two middle fingers might suffice. This movie has absolutely no substance and goes off on many tangents without any meaning. Please spare yourself from the torture and rent something else! Don't waste your time with this one. I thought it might be interesting, but instead it was a boring waste! Spoiled characters, lamenting over their spoiled lives. Watching paint dry is more exciting. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreI'm shocked that my take on this film is so far from everyone else's opinion. I tried to figure why, thinking that it might be that I hate sports in general. I thought, maybe I missed the subtle meaning of something that these other true fans got from the beginning; but I found Keatonâs lament about his past with the Red Sox to be insightful, and though it wasnât âField of Dreamsâ I thought it might have helped me to understand the male animal just a little bit more, then again maybe not. There were places that I got a real laugh, and anything that makes me laugh is GOOD! I loved it. Takes all kinds. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

I have to disagree, yes it may have been slow at parts. But, overall is was a good movie. I also love any chance I get to see the ball go through Bill Buckners legs. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
