I am embarrassed to say I never read the book but couldn't wait to see this movie. I wasn't disappointed. It was fantastic and great for the whole family. Charlotte is a little scary looking though for young children. The movie has a great message. Really entertaining to watch the animals "talking"!

This is a faithful adaptation of the book that only goes astray when it starts to devote too much attention to the "witty banter" between the other barnyard animals. Dakota Fanning is amazing. She has more talent as an actress than most adults in the business (if you don't believe me, watch her act circles around Tom Cruise in the overwrought War of the Worlds). The CGI animals are well-done, and the animated sequences of Charlotte writing in her web are absolutely wonderful. Hollywood needs more family movies like this, and less of them that revolve around fart and booger jokes.

For those of you 30 somethings like me, this is a must see! You will remember reading it, and then seeing the animated movie....now you HAVE to see the live action! It's a timeless classic and this is a great adaptation. Yes, I still cried over Charlotte! And the kids will love it too. This version kind of reminded me a little of Babe - and once again, I feel a need to adopt a baby pig. My highest recommendations for ALL ages.

Christmas Love

A great family movie everyone will enjoy Charlottes Web, its a fun movie. A lot of great people do the voices even Robert Redford & Julia Roberts to name a few. I really enjoyed this one.
