Very Well Done - you get a feel for the era, the silent panic people experienced, the shameful accusations and responses and how Murrow was treated for doing his job well. Loved the genre used for filming, the music. You don't have to have a memory of the times to understand exactly what was going on.

Amazing acting, great time in history and told perfectly. BRAVO George Clooney for having the guts to make this film. I do hope those of you who are too young to remember this time will take a moment to really listen...if we do not learn from history we are forced to repeat it. Look at this administration and I rest my case. Don't miss this one....I was glued to every moment and watched it a 2nd time right after it was over....

I thought this movie was very well done. The black and white cinematography was terrific.

Couldn't watch more than 30 mins of this. Utterly uninvolving. The story line doesn't invoke any empathy for any character. Very poor movie making.

I didn't care for the acting in the movie and thought the message was off base from books I have read on the subject.

This movie clearly conveyed the tension and the climate of the time. It also showed that Murrow was ahead of his time. His thoughts on t.v. journalism in the 1950's couldn't be truer today. Well ...

Not only boring, but the most slated look at history there ever existed. Not worth the 90 minutes of your life.

This film shows a very different era of history, that many younger people do not remember. This is a different America than we've seen in quite awhile. While this is an obvious warning on letting history repeat itself ("we must not confuse dissent with disloyalty"-Murrow), it's also reminds us that much of reporting, today and then, are about men with opinions presenting what they want us to know. Watch the companion piece in the special features...brings a real depth to the film. This isn't history...it's still just a (very well crafted) movie at the end of the day.
