Read MoreBecause we already know who Jigsaw is, the mystery element is gone and the bulk of the movie isn't as entertaining as the first. I found myself enjoying the dialogue between Jigsaw and Eric (the detective) much more than I did the monotonous one by one killing off of the characters inside the house. This is of course because we've seen this all before and no matter how inventive the traps are, you simply can't duplicate as much intrigue as you had with the first. It's simply not quite the same. Despite all of this, the conclusion of this one is just so unexpected, surprising, and well done that you can't help but like this movie when it's over. For me, it was the best conclusion of the series so far, it makes the movie, and lets you forgive the less than spectacular material that preceded it. Overall, it's a notch below the first one but not far from it either, and much better than most sequels of this genre. The finale alone makes the movie worth seeing. Most of this movies points come from making me wince at the pain. Although everyone says its predictable. I bet most DIDN'T predict the end. Worthwhile rental. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

This movie is one of the FEW sequels to be as good or exceed the original. Though I must say the ending was only so-so but dont let that stop you, the rest of the film was very enjoyable...in a sick and twisted sorta way. Also I must say the acting in this film was MUCH BETTER than in the original! CHECK THIS FILM OUT! Note: This film has an extremely low cheese factor for a horror movie.
