The original was great and the sequel was definitely in keeping with the first. Great twist at the end. More gory than the first but this is no horror film. So if you're looking for a scare look elsewhere but if you're looking for a suspense / thriller / mystery movie look no further, this is one of the best.

WOW!!!! This movie was absolutely crazy!! The twist in the movie knocks the socks right off you. WOW!!!! Way better than the 1st, Saw III will be as good as the rest!!!

I thought this was a pretty good movie. It wasn't quite as good as the first one but rarely do sequels live up to the reputation of their older sibling (see Jaws, The Matrix, etc.) The acting was pretty good and the plot line, I thought, was excellent. Gory? You betchya. Thrilling? Absolutely! I just hope they don't make this into a endless sequel machine.

I do agree with other reviews in that there are lot of clues that are easy to figure out, at least compare to Saw I, but overall, it is more bloody and still full of action.

This is typical of a "sequel" and disappointing as often seems the case. In this story someone from the last SAW comes back again with a twist. Just not scary enough, and not enough suspense.
