I suggest you see it first before watching "Saw 2" because if I hadn't seen "Saw" then number 2 would have just been stupid to me. The first Saw was intelligently clever and the ending was very witty. Saw 2 was decent up to the point of the ending which was "dumb"! For "Saw 2" to live up to the first one they should have put more thought into the structure of the puzzles and the ending most definitely. I know they wanted to add third installment to this series of Saw but I could have written a better plot for that. You will know what I am talking about if you watch it or if you seen it already. Read More As the NY Times has aptly discovered, women are into horror when it is psychological. Saw II delivers by bringing back the surviving victim from the first movie and having her play a powerful role. You may call it predictable, but if your a true fan of the genre aren't they all? But a friend conned me into watching the original and i actually saw this in its first week of release. AWESOME movie!!! I think its better than the first, ties in scenes from the first so it rewards the viewer that saw it. Better scenes and more stomach turning visuals. really creepy!!! Dont wait for the DVD, watch it in the theater. if you are reading this and havent seen it, make your rent from blockbuster be the second time you will be watching it not the first. Read More Its a shame that most sequels are worse then the original, In this case they are about equally bad.. The best parts of this movie can be found on the trailer for the movie. And whos bright idea was it to turn this thriller into a comedy? As for the scares, the first SAW was far scarier then this piece of dibble. AND THAT WASN'T VERY SCARIE. The only time you might jump is when the sound track goes into blastoff mode. I have read the other reviews and most people liked this movie, I guess when you spend eight fifty for a movie you had better like it, I didnt . . . for me the best part of this movie, and I dont want to spill the ending for you.
