Much better than expected; I felt the wole film was entirely believable. The trial provided a contextual balance and basis for the storyline. Scary enough to be suspenseful, but not stupid.

The story doesn't really focused on Emily Rose(which would of been a better movie, but would be too similar to The Exorcist), but those few scenes you get to see Emily(Jennifer Carpenter) freak out, are so chilling that at 3 am, you're kinda scared to be awake or go to sleep.

Was very good, considering that the film jumps back and forth from a court room drama to horror. Jennifer Carpenter is total creepy as a possessed person.-Stone

Based on a true story made it seem like it was real because there was not a lot of pop up scares and action. The majority of the film takes place in a courtroom and I still found the court scenes interesting and not a bore. This movie is still entertaining and will make people jump and tense up at some parts.

This movie scared me in a way that other movies haven't been able to. Me being Catholic and all, the thought of having demons inside of my body scares the living daylights out of me. The visions that she had and the things that she experienced were very frightening. The end of the movie was very twisted and I was surprised by it. It makes you really begin to wonder what God has in store for us. kenzismoviereviews.blogspot.com
