Sure, there may have been things in this movie that shouldn't have been, but thats why its called FICTION!!! This movie focuses on Beethoven Ninth Symphony which is one of my favorites. Its the most beautiful pieces by this extraordinary composer. The acting was great. Ed Harris as Beethoven was just brilliant!! This movie does not compare to "Immortal Beloved", but it wasn't that bad. I liked it, and I found that I was entertained and intrigued. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

An interesting perspective and good look at the way Beethoven was. The music mixing was good too. In the end, however, it tends to fall flat, but keeps one interested along the way. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

DVD was damaged but did not mind missing the rest of the movie; only saw 40 minutes which was enough. Loses credibility when they do those things to get the rating. Who are they writing for?
