But, because it is a fantasy, and comic book setting, I give it one star. But for the acting? Zero stars. But I also have to admit that Kevin Spacey is amazing in his villainous role. Superman seemed like a pervert the way he was checking up on Lois. I love Kevin Spacey but he didn't make a good Lex but I think that was just the story. Not sure what they were thinking when they made this movie.

I was expecting something a little more "Grand Scale" than just a return. Watching the movie you see some serious inconsistencies. Does Kryptonite really stop him or has it been in his head the whole time? I mean, he pulled off the most monstrously strong feat EVER in this movie with a huge rock of pure kryptonite . . . so . . . what's the deal here? For the most part, when heck would Superman give up his only son and not fight for Lois! My God what were they thinking. Superman would never leave his family! On top of that, Lex Luthor is a malevant bad ass. With all this going for it, it took me three sessions to get through the movie (yes, I work a lot and I'm beat by the time I get my kid to bed).
