A large family gathered around Sarah (Diane Lane), who was divorced a WHOLE EIGHT MONTHS, to encourage her to get back into the dating scene. Throughout the film, this meddling family was supposed to be charming, but I would have found them annoying in real life and told them to leave me the hell alone.
Sarah ends up on an Internet dating site and meets Jake (John Cusack). They dated in a confused sort of way that some would deem as adorable (not me).
My favorite part of the movie was when Diane Lane answered her own dad's (Christopher Plumber) personal ad. It was short, in the commercials, but still very funny.
By far, the character I enjoyed most was Stockard Channing, who plays a woman Christopher Plumber is dating. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
