not your typical hong kong gangster movie, I thought Derek Yee did a good job of capturing the sense of Mongkok - the "most densely populated city in the world" from the opening scene. this is less of a honk kong gangster movie than it is an artistic drama with a little bit of action. to be honest I was motivated to watch mostly because of cecilia cheung, who does not disappoint, good actress that just fills up the screen.
