The movie was better than I had expected, consider that there were many big stars, which usually means,crappy movie. I was entertained for the most part, and enjoyed the Graduate connection. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Typical Rob Reiner: he thinks he's funny. Still, the movie is not a complete piece of garbage due to some pretty good performances by Aniston and Shirley MacLaine. Cathy Bates is great as the crazy lush aunt in a small part at the beginning. Mena Suvari, in all her annoyance and untalented glory, plays the fickle sister. Oh, yeah, Costner is in it too. Reiner is so cliché in his attempts at comedy, it's like suffering through a Dom Delouise interview conducted by Carrot Top. It's nothing that hasn't been done better. But it's watchable. Read MoreThe only thing that made the rather sick event of Jennifer doing the same guy as Grandma and Ma worthwhile, is when her fiance shows up at the same time as they are smooching away at the dance and say's "I sure hope that's not your Dad!". That actually made me bust out laughing. Up till then, I thought the whole thing was a little ridiculous.
Overall, it was a pretty watchable film, with several funny moments. But man, Coster needs some better roles. Most of them lately have been either real mismatches or total snoozers....yaaawwwwnnn (Not the movie, but rather him). Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
