If you read the book "Devil in White City" than this is worth renting. It's a very interesting documentary, but has very cheese reinactments.

I actually got about 35 pages into writing a biopic of H.H. Holmes because Tom Cruise lost the rights to "The Devil in the White City," but it was scooped up by another producer to make into a film. Oh well, maybe I'll wait a few years after they screw it up to finish mine.
