Epoch Evolution is out-and-out a poor film. I watched about forty-five minutes worth until finally turning it off. The plot is artifical and the acting is poor. While watching the movie, you almost get the feeling that it was one of those really bad sitcoms they have on the Sci-Fi channel. In case my review isn't obvious -- don't rent this film.

The plot was forced in places and not of any great depth. I did wonder about a number of things like how did his wife die if his son could raise people from the dead, how did the key that fit in the top of the Taurus happen to be found by someone and put in the keeping of a monestary that the one person who would know what it was happened to frequent, etc. Discounting the unanswered questions it was an interesting sci-fi diversion.
