Read More Here's a refreshing take on the vampire genre with original, cutting edge CGi that doesn't over-do it. The story plays out perfectly and the plot unravels as the film moves along with stunning visuals of an ancient epic battle scene to modern day Moscow. I've seen the trailer to the sequel "Daywatch" (at apple.com/quicktime/trailers), and that trailer alone blew away any Hollywood produced action flick in the past two years. Read More Like many others rented it after seeing the Day Watch trailer so decided to watch Night Watch to get started now i'm not sure if I should try Day Watch. I can get past the acting and look after all it is a low budget foriegn film ( did not know that at first) I think the director has good vision, but the story goes all over the place and lead character I can beat up on never mind the people he goes against. I also watched Day watch..I seen the previews and was like..OMG..gotta see it...so disappointed...the story was all over the place...at the end of the movie I kinda knew what was going but you really had to filter thru the BS and dumb lines to really get the point...dont waste your time!!!! Read More i saw the preview for this movie on another rental and thought that it looked interesting. I have to say that this movie is probably the worst movie ever made. The plot is very hard to follow, if there is one to begin with. The concept is interesting, but not enough time or money was invested in the movie. The dialogue was just as confusing. The movie failed to capture my attention. I actually started folding clothes while watching it, so I didn't feel as though I was wasting time.
