This movie is for men or women. I do not usually like to watch boxing movies, but the rest of the movie really pulled me in. My husband liked the whole thing. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

It just never came. It is An Officer and a Gentleman meets Rocky, but it is not as good as either of those movies. Annapolis is about an hour too long with no payoff at the end. Skip this one... Read MoreHaving lived near and been to Annapolis many times I was looking forward to seeing familiar places and learning about the rigors of the Naval Academy. This movie spent most of the time in the boxing ring, which is of no interest to me, and no time on the academics and education that go into becoming a Naval officer. Not at all what I expected. Not only the title was ... Read MoreI rented this movie to learn more about the Naval Academy. Instead, I was given an instructional video on how to prepare for boxing match, and how to dance with a chick.
Not only the title was misleading and phony, but the whole description of the Annapolis Academy was completely off-base. I wanted to quit watching it half way through, but I forced to finish it hoping that maybe, just maybe, the film creators will do some justice to the Academy... Well, they never did.
