Read MoreThis movie is so entertaining and it somehow melds the kitsch of shows like the 60's Batman with a modern,inventive storyline. And it has Disney favorite Kurt Russell who made all those fun Disney movies when he was a kid. My boys love the school in the sky and we enjoy quoting some of the quirkier lines. My 10 year-old saw it at least 5 times. It was very entertaining although very superficial...but hey, it's for the in-between age kids who can't always see the movies that are out. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

He always comes through like a stand-up guy no matter what he does. Michael Angarano's ("Will & Grace", "Black Irish") career is really taking off as this film came out. Kevin McDonald (who goes way back to "Kids in the Hall" and everything else funny in between) is hysterical as "Mr. Medulla". Fun flick. Not too long for adults to endure with the kids. The story is about the son of the leading superheroe who goes to a super high school. He struggles with growing pains, like all teens, exdept his are, well, super. Lack of self-confidence and being at that ackward stage makes our unlikely hero even more super when he struggles and eventually excels against amazing odds saving the day as only a son of a superheroe can.
