I just got finished watching this movie. It wasn't to bad. It had its gruesome parts to it. The acting was so-so. I have just seen this type of movie done way to much. Overall just okay.

Agree with the others, very low budget look and feel with barely acceptable acting thats marginally watchable in the first half. Unfortunately the last half, the almost campy slime and zombie plot turn, ruins any possibility of it actually being a serious, horror film. The effects really have a "done on a shoestring" look and the supposedly creepy main character looks like a guy with a cheap, bad makeup job. Would have been bottom of the barrel in pro horror terms except for the fact BB carries tons of Roger Corman-like excruciatingly bad, "shot on a newspaper delivery boys budget" type horror flicks like Mangler Reborn and the even worse Andre The Butcher. So this in contrast to astonishingly inept horror flicks gets 2 stars.

I thought this one was a horror, funny film. It had its highlights. I really did not like the ending too sad. Would like to have someone get away!!!!!

God, why can't Tobe Hooper make a horror film with out the disfugured male character who hides from society, emerging occasionaly to slice a few teenagers? We saw it in the then original Teaxas Chainsaw Massacre. We saw it in Tool Box Murders. Now Mortuary. This movie's not that bad, its just beginning to feel redundant.

This movie is splattered with both blood, guts, and humor. Another movie about haunted funral homes and zombies. Rent it for a few laughs and a lot of gross out comedy.

The plot is cheezy - the mother that moved to a junk house with all kind of stuff to fix. The house is spooky but the kids feel at home. The front yard is a cemetary. Something evil that is waiting for blood to "come back" alive, with no explanation where its coming from or why - pleeease. For sure, it won't be part of my collection.
