Read More I liked everything about this movie except for the end of it because it was really sad. They also left somthing out in the end from the book but thats beacause it would not make any sense to put that scene in for the ones who have not read the book. But other than the sad ending I really enjoyed this movie. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

So when we were watching it three days later....it has a good hearted type plot and if you know any mentally handicapped people in your life then its very intriguing to know what people did to those with a disablility back in those days. Its a 6.2 out of 10.....in my eyes. Wouldnt see again though. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

And with more and more people depending on films to bring them the classic's. This is a very faithful recreation of this Steinbeck book. I wold also suggest "Canary Row". This is a story of two brothers..George, who must look after his slow brother Lennie, who unintentualy gets himself into the worst situation you might find yourself in... Can his brother get him out of this mess, or will he have to do the unthinkable? That you will have to find out for yourselves. Don't pass this by as an old stogy movie. It is the basis for most modern movies of this genre...Who knows, you might even read the book?...ZoE Reporting Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More The photography did a great job of capturing Steinbeck's California. All in all, it wasn't a bad remake of the classic film, and not a bad adaptation of the novel. It also sorta was weirding me out how much Sherilyn Fenn, as Curly's wife, looked like Dianne Feinstein trying to be a femme fatal. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
