It did have many sex scenes but it was a based in the late 70s with drugs, sex and all. I agree the psychiatrist would never wear such garb to analyze a suspect at a police station. The circling camera work was horrible, sickly. This movie isn't worth the DVD disk to which it was recorded. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

If you have ever read about the hillside strangler, you will know that some of the film actually hits well on accurate parts of the real story. Of course, there are a couple unrealistic items, such as how the therapist presents herself (very scantily clad, etc), but in all I thought it was a good movie. Partly, it was because the director loved to spin circles around characters exchanges, something epileptics will hate. It was some of the worst direction I've ever seen, and created one of the slowest murdermysteries possible.--- Next, this was supposed to be a film about the Hillside Strangler. Instead, we spend more time dealing with the stupid drama of the female doctor's life. This was a film for looking at this woman's body, bordering on soft porn, not for learning the story of the Hillside Strangler and Kenneth Bianchi. If you're a murder mystery buff or interested in true crime stories, this is NOT the one to see. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More One of the corniest movies ever -- it was a real chore to watch this one to the end. Who writes this stuff anyway --- not only is the psychoanalyst under-dressed for the part --- they would never let her alone with the guy without him either being handcuffed to the chair, plus there is no smoking in a police station --- come on now everyone knows that.
