I rented this because I love Audrey Hepburn. She did a great job of acting in this role. Many of her other roles were so similar, and this gave her a chance to branch out. I loved the first 3/4 of the movie, but then it all started to fall apart towards the end. The ending of the movie seeemed almost contrived. Close this Review

Hepburn's homely portrayal of a World War II era nun was definitely out of character in comparison to her other, more well-known roles. The plot was a little random at times, but overall I found the film interesting and thought-provoking concerning the legalistic approach of Catholic convents during this time in history. However, if you're looking for a "normal" Hepburn movie, this isn't it. Close this Review
