Still trying to puzzle out what the big fuss is over this movie. It was fine. It was well-acted. It had a great cast. It had a great director. But I was seriously underwhelmed. I feel like I've seen the same story in a million previous movies. The plot twists were fairly predictable. I hate to be the naysayer, but... not so much.

Can't say enough great things about this film. Perfectly cast, perfect script, perfectly executed. It is Scorsese's best film since Good Fellas. It just oozes character and charisma and you can't help but be completely absorbed in these characters and this story. Enough has been said already so if you have been waiting on my endorsement...here it is!

After watching classic Scorsese Movies such as Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, The Last Temptation of Christ, Goodfellas, and even Casino, this movie was extremely dissapointing. I could not believe out of all the a fore mentioned films that this is the one that took home the big prize for Mr. Scorsese. Give me a break. Taxi Driver didn't win but this remade Chinese film did?
