At the end of the movie Jack will remind you of the joker, but instead of a laugh machine it will be a cell phone. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Leonardo Dicaprio was awesome, the rest of the casts were good also. One thing though, why did Jack Nicholson appearence looks more like a bum than a mob boss ? DiCaprio is good as the undercover cop & Nicholson entertaining as the mobster. The movie is a little too long, some scenes could be cut & still tell the tale. Oh, and the female psychologist has the same outfit on in almost every scene she's in - someone screwed up there :). Worth the admission price, and not a bad date movie even though there's only a little sex and romance. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

I would recommend anyone go see this movie. It's intense with alot of subtle and at times vulgar humor. Martin Scorsese pulls it off again. His career as a director is one of a kind and this movies is, I believe, one of his best ever. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

The movie opens with an appropriate Rolling Stones song, "Gimme Shelter. Why did they use a real Rolling Stones song, but use a fake Pink Floyd song? One would think that when they spend millions on a star-studded cast, they could at least spring for a couple of real songs.
Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio) is an under-cover cop. He is used to get inside the bad-guys organization run by Frank Costello (Jack Nicholson). Why does Jack Nicholson always remind me of his portrayal of The Joker in the Batman movie?
Another bad-guy named Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon) works from inside the police department and tips off Frank Costello from time to time.
The story was not satisfying. The movie was too long and the ending was set up in an attempt to be different, but come on, havent we already seen every conceivable cop show? Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
