Read More Tom Arnold hasn't always been my favorite actor (look who he married!) but he's made it to the top of my list again. This movie showed that you can make something pretty clean, very entertaining and include the majority of Hollywood stars and still make it all decent to watch! A great story (not reality if Dad could buy you a movie) but it showed that a young man with disabilities can come out on top and become not only an endearing character, but a HERO.
Note to Hollywood: We want more of these! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

My wife and I enjoyed this movie very much. I laughed out loud several times. There was a bit of mild language, which is not overly offensive but probably could have been left out and not affected the movie and made this a bit more kid-friendly (we have 1st and 3rd graders). Read More While this movie was funny, it was also very profound and contained a lot of strong emotions. It covered everything from feeling worthless to being homeless, drug use and suicide. I would definitely recommend it for some people (and even use parts of it as teaching tools), but this is BY NO MEANS a 'family' or "kid" movie! I would not let my 11 and 12 year olds watch it. Read More The people that gave this movie a good reveiw are somehow involved in this movie. Don't let these people make you think this is a good movie, it is awful and rates in the top 3 worst movies I have seen. I have a feeling this movie was paid for by the kid who acts in this movies father. Thats why they say it is based on a true story because that is what the movie is about a kid who's father pays for his son to act in a movie with D- list actors who need the money. Do yourself a favor and don't rent this movie. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
