Directed by James Toback, the erotic drama When Will I Be Loved? revolves around Vera, the debutante girlfriend (Neve Campbell) of a fast-talking hustler (Frederick Weller) who is on the verge of making millions through a big-money gambling venture. Feeling undervalued, Vera explores her sexuality through whatever means she can think of, including explicit discussions with a potential employer, picking up random men, and videotaping steamy trysts with her female lover. The only reason this movie gets 1 star is because of the guy that plays the sleezy boyfriend. His character is unintentionally funny. Other than that, if you want to see Neve Campbell's inverted nipples (they are tucked inward rather than poke out), that's the only other reason to watch this film. No plot, a couple of characters have absolutely NO REASON for being in the film, and so on. What a waste of my time.

Not really paying attention to the reviews, I received this movies. I will tell you what Neve really disappoints me to be in a movie this terrible. She is so much better than this. I really did expect something good by her dispite the reviews. I should have listened to the critics, the most important reviews!!! TERRIBLE.........

The movie was total disappointment. The acting was terrible and there was NO plot. It was a very low budget film that wouldnt even appeal to any type of audience. I would delete this one from the bottom of my queue!

And just go rent a porn flick instead. The plots would be similar and the sex would be better. And at least someone who DIDN'T want to see a porn movie wouldn't waste a couple of hours thinking a plot might finally develop. My 16 year old will definitely not be watching this one.

My only thought upon finishing this movie was, "What a waste of time". It doesn't go anywhere until the last 15 minutes of the movie, at which point it becomes a REALLY BAD rip-off of Indecent Proposal. NOT WORTH ANYONE'S TIME, not even a film critic to tell you exactly how bad this movie is... is this what Neve Campbell has been reduced to? What a shame, she really had some talent once upon a time...
