Read MoreBTW, this review is from Faith W, not the male half. How any man would find Elizabeth Bennet of interest in this remake puzzles me. Her clothing is drab, while Jane's touted beauty is buried. And two of Jane Austen's deliciously ridiculous characters, Mr. and Mrs. Bennet, live in a matrimonial comfort almost approaching bliss. Wrong, wrong , wrong. This is one of my favorite books, and this movie's characterization is ridiculous:. Sorry, but no one can better the A&E mini series, with the appropriate clothing, lines taken from the original book and characters true to Jane Austen's pen. Jane Austen would be horrified. Watch the BBC version, it's less hollywood, but way more accurate. I love Keira Knightley, but she is no Elizabeth Bennet. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
