I'm not really that big of an elijah Wood fan but I found this movie very entertaining. I learned some things about the "football" hooligans that I never knew before. The storyline was just above a grade school level but it was fun to watch regardless. I would surely watch it again.

This film is about a LOT more than hooligans. A rare treat, this film makes so subtle an impression that one ends up having been moved, affected, without knowing precisely when/how it happened. The song, "One Blood" is so strong, so eloquently and simply stated a summary, that it deserves Grammy consideration. So do yourself a favor, see the film fo ryourself. Perhaps you'll be one of the naysayers afterwards... or maybe you'll see mor ethan they did. Either way, you'll have made up your own mind, rather than having your opinion handed to you.

I really liked this film a lot. And I also really liked Elijah Wood. So different for him and it showed his range fantastically. There isn't so much violence. Big deal, people get beat up. Watch Final Destination 3 and you'll be throwing up from the violence and gore. I really got into these characters and why they felt the need to be stronger than others. If you've ever been picked on in school, you'll understand how they feel. Not that it makes it right but that's the mind set and it's a reality. Loved it.

Much better than I thought this would be. Especially that Jacob Gaffney (cast as Todd). Worth the rent!

This is a great film if you like watching guys beat the crap out of each other. It's nicely shot, the actors are great, but it's just plain stupid. They're fighting over loyalty to a soccer team. Plus, the fish out of water that gets absorbed and accepted by the thugish gangs is 4'11'' and 125 pounds while wet and wearing boots. The story just gets harder to swallow from there, reaching the climax of abusdity when Claire Forlane's character decides to save the day by taking her baby and putting herself in middle of the crucial melee. Turn off your brain and endulge your bravado, there's not much here to appease thought or logic. I'd probably rent the latest UFC video instead, at least that's real.

Public service announcement: SKIP THIS FLICK! Man, if someone had told me when I was watching Elijah Wood (frodo) in LOTR that he would one day be in a dreadful, pointless movie that promotes needless violence while highlighting his inability to act, I would have replied, "yeah, that sounds about right."
