2 out of 2 people found this review helpful This movie flew relatively under the radar initially but I believe has picked up some notority as of recently. Very enjoyable storline with very likeable characters. As much as I don't really care for Elijah Wood I have to admit he did a solid job of pulling this role off. I liked everything about this movie.WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

It had a lot of action. It gave you a chance to see how the American and English cultures clashed and complimented eachother. The title of the movie kind of throws you off but once you start watching it, it becomes very interesting quickly and you can't stop watching it. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind violence. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More Would have been much better except for Elijah Wood is miscast as the star. He is not even remotely convincing as a gang joining brawler in a "firm" (British "gang") of football/soccer fans/hooligans who brawl in street fights against other "firms." Woods sticks out like a sore thumb, rather lost instead of leading the movie. He only has 3 facial expressions (sad, happy, serious). And with his x-ray looking eyes and Bambi-like face it's more like an alien baby than a credible street brawler. The story is intense, the plot accelerates, the other actors are brilliant and deliver great intensity. Again, Wood literally comes off like a deer caught in the headlights. When he finally pulls off a good scene, it's the last one in the film. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
