I've rented a lot of movies for my kids trying to teach them about stuff, and this movie was not really made for kids. It was very boring - even for my 2 year old. The animals just are not engaging, they don't repeat the names and sounds enough, and my daughter did not get much out of it in the way of learning her animals.
On the other hand - I rented baby einstein's Noah's Ark and my daughter learned to say "hippo" in just 1 viewing - after an entire weekend (and 20 or so viewings later) she was able to say almost all the animals on it and make most of their noises as well (the lion was her favorite).
So there are good "made for kids" movies you can rent, but this one was not one of them. Close this Review

My family finds this to be an excellent way to introduce our religious beliefs to our daughter. She was fully engaged and watches every moment of the dvd. And, as she has gotten older even repeats the parts she likes. Excellent for children 2 and under. Close this Review
My 2 year spent all of 10 minutes watching it and told me that she would rather see Baby Einstein. It tries to copy Baby Einstein, with the hand puppets but didn't quite flow well.
