I was raised Catholic, but even so this movie was entirely foreign to me and I didn't understand most of it. Maybe the sequel will be better. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreI've seen this movie several times - horrible history, actually suggesting Rome was torn apart by mobs of violent Christians! and that the witch hunts of Medieval times were actually because the church inheritantly was trying to destroy women. (how much sense does that make?) Story strange and convoluted also.
But there is one thing this movie had I loved - one of the most beautiful scores I've ever heard. I actually bought the soundtrack, something I rarely do. Good performances by Hanks and McKellan also, and if you love art, some glorious scenes of Paris, churches, and the Louvre. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

I thought it good (not great) - enough holes to strain your spagetti through it - BUT entertaining none the less - Good performances by Hanks and McKellen. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

I enjoyed the action and suspence. Could've had a little more cohesiveness thru the story. I enjoyed the different prespective. The ending left me hanging thou.. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

One word can discribe this film ABYSMAL. The movie was boring and doesnt grip you like the book. poor acting, bad script. all in all this is an awful adaptation. Ron Howard bow your head in shame. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
