As ever with a depiction of a famous person's life, the depictor is stuck with the life. Unless you're Shakespeare remaking Richard III you probably won't turn out a structural or thematic masterpiece. But Peter Sellers is an interesting subject--sad, maybe, but interesting all the same. And Geoffrey Rush is amazing: there are moments when he truly IS Peter Sellers. You may not like the Sellers you see here, but you'll probably admire the talent & craft with which the film is mounted.

I never realized how narcisitic Peter Sellers was. Good movie if you're a Petter Sellers fan.

I didn't know so much about Peter's life and was surprised at how weird he was. It was a bit confusing at times but an okay movie.

Not a bad movie on a very popular actor. Very crative format in, for example, having Rush also play Selllers father narratiing about himself and Peter both. However, I fail to believe that any human being could be as devoid of personality, except for his roles as characters in radio shows and movies, as this plot argues. They could have done a lot more with other characters such as his first wife, given the great talent of Emily Watson. Charlize Theron gets 2nd or 3rd billing but only had a very, very small role.
